Classic rock. Bouncy pop. Melodies so beloved, they’ve become anthems. Lyrics so meaningful, you quoted them in your friends’ yearbooks or recited them in your wedding vows. Guitar solos so ingrained in your memory, you can still sing along with every note.

Rewind to one cold Sunday night in February, 1964, with The Beatles’ appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show. Soon after that momentous and magical night, the floodgates opened for the Rolling Stones, The Dave Clark 5, The Kinks, The Hollies, Petula Clark, The Who, Dusty Springfield, Moody Blues, The Animals, The Zombies, The Yardbirds, Herman’s Hermits and many others. So began the second “British Invasion” of America.

But this time around, America didn’t fight the Brits. Instead, America’s youth welcomed them with open arms. This time around, their invasion was an overwhelming success. Thanks to the Brits, popular music and culture would never be the same again.

The English Channel authentically recreates British music from the mid ‘60’s to the mid ‘70’s. That’s all we do. But that’s plenty. Someone had to do it...there was so much music and so many different styles to play.

Every song we play sold millions of records in its day. Some of these songs are still on the charts today, some 40 years later. Every song is someone’s favorite. People of all ages leave an English Channel performance happy.

We don’t wear wigs or pretend to be British. But we play each song “just like the record” and just like you remember it.

It may be hard to sit still. You’ll wanna dance. But mostly you’ll wanna sing along, even to the guitar solos. And that’s okay.

Tune in to The Channel.

We’ll take you back to where you once belonged.
