Rewind to one cold Sunday night in February, 1964, with The Beatles’ appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show. Soon after that momentous and magical night, the floodgates opened for the Rolling Stones, The Dave Clark 5, The Kinks, The Hollies, Petula Clark, The Who, Dusty Springfield, Moody Blues, The Animals, The Zombies, The Yardbirds, Herman’s Hermits and many others. So began the second “British Invasion” of America.


But this time around, America didn’t fight the Brits. Instead, America’s youth welcomed them with open arms. This time around, their invasion was an overwhelming success! Thanks to the Brits, popular music and culture would never be the same again.


Formed in 2001, The English Channel authentically & meticulously recreates British rock and pop from the mid ‘60’s to the mid ‘70‘s. Each song they play sounds “just like the record” and just like you remember it. The members of this band have a passion for this music and it shows with their energy & enthusiasm onstage.


Every song The English Channel performs sold millions of records in its day and is someone’s all-time favorite. You'll hear lush harmonies, a tight rhythm section, shreddin’ guitars, rich orchestration and some songs you never thought you’d hear a band play live.  People of all ages leave an English Channel performance happy and wanting more.


It may be hard to sit still when you listen to The English Channel. You’ll wanna dance. But mostly you’ll wanna sing along, even to the guitar solos....and that’s okay!
